Time is critical and we understand this.

We work closely with your primary care veterinarian, sharing information, and keeping your veterinarian informed with progress updates along the way. We believe that an open line of communication is essential for the proper treatment of your pet. In acting as an extension of your primary care veterinarians practice, we care for your pet when your primary veterinarian is unavailable (off hours, emergency situations), and when your pet requires care that must be delivered in an advanced, 24/7 state of the art clinical setting. When complicated cases require evaluation by a specialist, we are here for you and your primary care veterinarian to partner in the care of your pet.

Referral and Specialty services are staffed by Board Certified Specialists and Residency Trained, Board-Eligible clinicians to provide the advanced care your pet needs. These Specialty and Referral Services include: Cardiology, Clinical Pathology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Surgery and Emergency & Critical Care. The comprehensive nature of these services, along with the emergency service provides an outstanding environment in which to provide for the care of the injured or ill pet.

Finally, despite all of the advanced diagnostics, patient monitoring, and treatment available, it is the people who make a difference. CARES is a group of exceptional individuals, of great people, and great personalities. The staff has been hand selected over time to meet the needs of your pet, you, and the hospital.
