Dr. King will soon offer minimally invasive cardiac procedures including pacemaker implantation, coil occlusion of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), transvenous catheterization and treatment of other congenital cardiac defects.

Dr. Liz Little is a clinical pathologist for IDEXX Reference Laboratories but works full-time at CARES. The clinical pathologist is responsible for providing clinicians with diagnostic evaluations in the area of clinical pathology.

Dermatology
Dermatology service at CARES starts September 27th, 2010. Dr. Radwanski is board certified in Veterinary Dermatology. Her expertise includes comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of allergic skin disease, ear disease, autoimmune skin disease and infectious skin disease. Dr. Radwanski performs both blood and intradermal allergy testing, skin biopsy and deep ear flushes.

Internal Medicine
The CARES Internal Medicine Service is run by Dr. Jennifer Adler and Dr. Samantha Murray.  Both are internal medicine specialists certified by the American College of Internal Medicine (ACVIM).  Drs. Adler and Murray provide the highest quality of care, treatment and support for patients with a variety of chronic and complicated illnesses.

Neurology
Dr. Edwin Darrin is the head of the neurology service at CARES. He is a neurology specialist who is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). The goals of the neurology service are: to work with you and your primary care veterinarian to diagnose and treat any neurologic complaints your pet might have, to try to provide proper neurologic function, and to maintain the best possible quality of life for your pet.

The CARES oncology service is run by Drs. Baez and Overley, oncology specialists certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).  Drs. Baez and Overley provide the latest and highest quality of care, treatment, and support for patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.

The ophthalmology service at CARES offers consultations for orbital, adnexal, and ocular disease in a timely fashion including ophthalmic certification examination (CERF) by a board-certified ophthalmologist.

Dr. Lisa Ziemer is a board certified veterinary radiologist, who has offered a wide variety of imaging services at CARES since 2005. CARES has a state of the art digital imaging system that allows veterinarians to obtain the highest quality digital radiographs.
