Support Services
CARES recognizes and supports the human animal bond and provides supportive services at no cost to clients of CARES. Outside referrals are also accepted and services are available at a reduced rate.
CARES also provides consultation services either by telephone or in person (also by appointment) for those clients who desire assistance with their decision making process, or assistance with discussing any pet related issues with family or friends. The services are provided by a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Please contact the hospital for more information and how to get started.
